Patient came complaining of a simultaneous pain with cold and sweets, upon diagnosis we found an defective restoration with a leakage beneath concluding a reversible pulpitis case.
Remove the amalgam, clean the caries underneath caused by leakage,gaining peripheral seal zone and application of SCR, gaining isolation and elevation of the deep margin then building the mesial wall then restoring the whole tooth.
Patient liked the overall experience and was thankful that we didn’t have to go for an endodontic treatment.
Sensitivity was gone.
